POKOTABI / Pegasus Coffee Shop
喫茶店 ペガサス
Nishi-Asakusa kissaten Pegasus Coffee Shop serves its signature house blend brewed since 1956, along with cream-topped cinnamon toast and firm thin-noodle Neapolitan spaghetti.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Set along a street in Nishi-Asakusa, Pegasus Coffee Shop is a longstanding kissaten in business since 1956. One of its defining orders is the house blend coffee, an aromatic cup centered on Colombian beans blended with Brazilian, Guatemalan, and Mocha varieties, delivering a crisp, refreshing acidity. A natural companion to the coffee is the cinnamon toast, cut thick and served with rich cream. The warm spice of the cinnamon and the velvety sweetness of the cream balance the coffee's bright acidity nicely.
Those seeking a substantial meal will find traditional kissaten staples. The Neapolitan spaghetti features thinner noodles with a firm chew, tossed in a savory tomato sauce that keeps sweetness restrained. The menu also offers dry curry, pilaf, egg sandwiches, and mixed sandwiches, giving plenty of options to match your appetite.
For teatime, the sweet offerings include chocolate parfaits, fruit parfaits, and colorful cream sodas. The generously portioned, eye-catching parfaits and rich iced cocoa make welcome refreshments between walks through the neighborhood.
The interior is arranged primarily with booth-style seating, providing an unhurried, comfortable atmosphere suited for lunch or a solo break. With table-service drinks and fare, guests can soak in the classic kissaten ambiance. Please note that PayPay is not accepted.
